The Lashmeet Public Service District continues to prioritize the expansion of safe and reliable public water service to unserved and underserved customers throughout Mercer County. Current efforts are focused on three major waterline extensions: Brickyard Road, Mary Branch, and the Stovall Ridge-Nubbins Ridge-Camp Creek area. While the District recently moved to reject all bids for the Mary Branch project due to market volatility, teams are actively working to secure design phase funding and complete essential field research for the remaining extensions. These initiatives represent a significant commitment to improving local infrastructure and ensuring environmental health across the region.
