The Mercer County Commission is proud to announce a county-wide food drive to support our vital local food pantries. As a community, we can make a significant difference for our neighbors in need, and your generosity is the key.
In an effort to ensure our local pantries are well-stocked, we have established several convenient donation drop-off locations across the county.
How You Can Help
We are collecting donations beginning Monday, November 4th.
What to Donate:
- We can ONLY accept NON-PERISHABLE FOOD items.
- (Examples include: canned goods, pasta, rice, cereal, peanut butter, dried beans, etc.)
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Official Donation Drop-Off Locations
Please bring your non-perishable food items to any of the following participating locations during the designated hours:
- City of Princeton – Municipal Government 800 Bee Street, Princeton, WV
- City of Bluefield – Local Government 200 Roger Street, Bluefield, WV
- Community Connections, Inc. 215 South Walker Street, Princeton,WV
- Mercer County Gardner Center (The former Forest Products Center) 241 Mercer Springs Road, Princeton, WV
All donations collected will be used to support and restock food pantries right here in Mercer County.
