Bramwell is a picturesque historical town nestled along the Bluestone National Scenic River in Mercer County, West Virginia. Named after the civil engineer J.H. Bramwell, this beautiful town began as a coal mining hub in the 1880s, officially being established in 1888 and gaining notoriety as once having the greatest number of millionaires per capita in the United States.
