Qualification Requirements

A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Mercer County Commission Courtroom located on the second floor of the Mercer County Courthouse. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who do not attend the pre-bid meeting. You must be on time for the pre-bid meeting. Bid packets will be handed out at the pre-bid meeting. The bid opening will be at the same location on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 3:00 p.m..

Sealed bids should be mailed or hand-delivered to Lori Mills, Dilapidated Structures Officer, 1500 West Main Street, Princeton, WV 24740. Bids may also be submitted in person on Friday, August 1, 2025 until 2:50 pm.

Please contact Lori Mills, Dilapidated Structures Officer by calling 304-325-6354 or by email at [email protected] if you choose to bring your bid early or if you have any questions regarding the project. Note: The bids will include the cost of required abatement for all asbestos-containing material. We will not have an asbestos report on these structures - It will be the responsibility of the contractor. The Mercer County Commission reserves the right to reject any/all bids.
