REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING
October 30, 2025
Lashmeet PSD held their regular meeting on October 30, 2025.
In attendance were: Mickey Hurst, Chairman, Kathy Martin, Treasurer, Shirlene Westrope, Secretary, Stacy Fowler, Thompson & Litton and Hannah Hill and Ben Haring with Region One.
Project Updates
- Stovall Ridge-Nubbins Ridge-Camp Creek: Continue the field research.
- Brickyard Road: No change
- Mary Branch: 5 contractors attended pre-bid meeting. Bid opening is November 13 1:30 at courthouse. This isn’t a good time to be seeking bids but we will hope for the best.
- Hiawatha-Springton: Working on Final Design. Work on DEP permit. DWTRF get meeting setup and get our rating higher. Most everything done for environmental. Started survey for the holding tank area. Winfrey has easement maps. Ben presented and we approved DD #6 $23,255.50 for Hiawatha-Springton.
Sewer
Mercer County PSD has asked if we would be willing to take over the sewer in Matoaka and the new system that is planned for this area. Stacy will attend a meeting on our behalf after the meeting on November 5 to see what would be expected of us.
Easements and Administration
- Hannah easement contract needs to be signed with ORC. They were the only one that bid and their price is $1250 per easement -85. Average is $300. Stacy will see that they perform in all areas. AML will be paying them.
- Kathy attended the PSD Seminar last month.
- Rent $150
- Lively said that T&B has looked at audit but had no comments. Kathy will call them to make sure they have everything they need.
